The draw for the final stages of Euro 2012 took place on December 2nd in Kiev.

Polish national team was very fortunate and got into the easiest group of all four groups of Euro 2012. In Group A rivals for the polish team will be Russia, the Czech Republic and Greece. It is theoretically the weakest group of the tournament. Less fortunate were the Ukrainians co-hosted the tournament, who will compete in group D with England, France and Sweden. In group C, Spain – defending champions will compete with Italy, Ireland and Croatia. Group B- the Dutch, Germans, Portuguese and Danes- was determined as a group of death.

Following the draw, schedule for UEFA EURO 2012 in Poland and Ukraine has been confirmed.

Poland will launch the tournament on Friday 8 June at 18.00CET against Greece in Warsaw followed by the other Group A opener between Russia and the Czech Republic at 20.45CET. The next day the Netherlands take on Denmark in Kharkiv and Germany face Portugal in Lviv to begin Group B, and on 10 June Group C starts as holders Spain play Italy and the Republic of Ireland are matched with Croatia.

Ukraine are involved in the last of the opening set of fixtures, meeting Sweden in Group D in Kyiv after England tackle France in Donetsk. The group stage runs until 19 June, then, after a rest day, the quarter-finals take place over four consecutive nights. The semi-finals are on 29 June in Donetsk and the following evening in Warsaw, before Kyiv stages the 1 July decider.

A foreigner who stays in Poland without breaks for at least five years on the basis of a visa or temporary residence permit can apply for a settlement permit, popularly known as a permanent residence card. A similar application can be presented by a foreigner living in Poland at least for three years once he or she came to Poland as a part of family emigration.

A foreigner applying for a settlement permit has to:
- demonstrate the existence of permanent family or economic attachment with the country of stay;
- justify to an authority issuing the permits that his or her income will be sufficient to cover the costs of living and treatment and will not use means of social aid;
- present a legal title to the address he or she lives at (e.g. deed of property, rental agreement).

A settlement permit is valid indeterminately. Such a permit will also be granted to a child of a foreigner who has been born on the territory of Poland.

A foreigner applying for permanent residence card is obliged to put forward:
- an application for permission to settle in Poland;
- four photographs;
- documents confirming income and financial means sufficient to cover costs of living;
- a confirmation of his or her address;
- documents stating an unbroken five- year period of living in Poland.

Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual discipline, originating in ancient India. The Sanskrit word yoga has the literal meaning of „yoke”, meaning to join, to unite, or to attach. What is commonly referred to as „yoga” can be more accurately described by the Sanskrit word asana, which refers to the practice of physical postures or poses. Asana, however, is only one of the eight „limbs” of yoga, the majority of which are more concerned with mental and spiritual well-being than physical activity.

Where to go on yoga in Wrocław?

We reccomend the yoga centre „Centrum Yogi” on Purkyniego 1 . Classes are divided into beginners and advanced level. Blankets, wooden blocks, pillows and bolsters are available for you on the spot. However if you decide to continue and practice on a regular basis, we recommend buying your own private mat.

Dos and Don’ts if you plan to go to a yoga class:

Don’t :
- have a big meal right before class. Try eating lightly a few hours before class starts.
- drink water during class, but have some before and after.
- wear shoes or socks during class.

Do:
- tell the teacher it’s your first class
- tell the teacher if you have any health problems, especially if you suffer from high blood pressure, heart problems, if you undergone any operation or injury, if you gave any problems with your spine or eyesight
- wear comfortable and loose clothes. You may bring a jumper and a pair of warm socks and put them on in the end of the class for the relaxation process.

Get started with yoga and enjoy its many health benefits. Regular practice of asanas will give your body more flexibility and strength. Physical activity is good for relieving stress, and this is particularly true of yoga. Because of the concentration required, your daily troubles seem to melt away during the time you are doing yoga. This provides a much-needed break from your stressors, as well as helping put things into perspective. The emphasis yoga places on being in the moment can also help relieve stress, as you learn not to dwell on past events or anticipate the future. You will leave a yoga class feeling less stressed than when you started. Yoga also introduces you to meditation techniques, such as watching how you breathe and disengagement from your thoughts, which help calm the mind.

To see the schedule please go on to http://www.centrumjogi.pl/
